We are trying our best to be the kind of church that God wants us to be.
Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, were there's relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we'd like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.

Lead Me to Calvary
As we prepare for Passion Week and Remembering the Cross, you
are invited to a retreat to focus on the cross. The retreat will be at
St. Bedes Retreat Center in Eau Claire on March 26-27th. The cost
is $15 to cover meals and refreshments and if you would like to lodge
overnight at St. Bedes, it will be $40. If you are interested in joining us,
please sign up or talk to Jeremy.
Annual Meeting
The annual meeting for Sheldon Church of Christ
will be held on February 7th at 1:15. All members
are encouraged to participate in this meeting where
leaders will be elected and issues concerning the church
will be discussed.
Women’s Bible Study
A new women’s Bible study is being planned to start on
February 4th. It will be every Thursday at 5:30 with a
stone-salad supper. The study will be on Romans.
The cost is $8 and we will meet at Cheryl Gunderson’s.
If you are interested in joining the study, please talk to Jennifer Allard
so she can order you a book.
Valentine’s Dinner
A special evening for couples awaits you on Friday, February 12.
Starting at 6:30, hors d’oeuvres will be offered with the
meal starting at 7:00. The meal will be at the church. The
main entree will be New York Strip steak and chocolate torte
with raspberry sauce for dessert. The cost is $30 per couple.
Following the meal will be a special program. Contact the church
office or sign up to reserve your place. Deadline for sign up is February 7th.
Fellowship Dinner
On February 7th, we will be having a fellowship dinner following the worship
service. Roast beef from Bev at Futility Farms will be served along with
all the wonderful dishes and desserts that everyone brings. Please make
plans in joining us after church.
