Sunday, November 16,2008 Everyone is invited to join us after the worship service for our annoual Thanksgiving Meal/Potluck. The church will be providing the trukey, mashed potatoes, and gravy. We ask that those attending bring a dish to pass and your appetite for good food and fellowship to complete the Thanksgiving meal. Fanny Nyamutura will share a devotional thought.
Sunday November 9th, the youth will be going bowling at the West Cove Lanes. The cost will be $8 per person and includes pizza, pop, shoe rental and two games. The Ladysmith youth group will be joining us there. After bowling we are going to the Ladysmith church for a movie and popcorn. The movie is yet to be announced. If you need a ride we will leave the church at 3:30. For details call Brandt.
The Flambeau School District recieved an Alcohol and Drug AbusePrevention Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. One of the goals of the grant is to involve our community members and parents to share their perspectives and opion on these issues and to help the school come up with solutions to some of these issues. There is a focus group scheduled for Monday November 17th at 7:00pm which will be held at the Sheldon Community Center. Please contact Jeremy Allard the focus group facilitator if you are intrested in participating or if you have any questions. The desire of the focus group is to allow the community to have open discussion about teen alcohol and drug abuse in our community.

From Highway 27, go East on County Highway D (formerly Highway 194) to Sheldon. When entering Sheldon, take the first possible right. Then take the next left and the Church will be on your left.
From Highway 64, take County Highway H north to County Highway D (formerly Highway 194). Go West on County Highway D to Sheldon. Take a left at 3rd Street and go 3 blocks. The Church will be to your right.
