Being a teenager is not always fun nor is it always easy. At our weekly youth group we always have fun with games and different activities. We also help make life easier by studying relevant topics to help today’s teen figure out how God wants us to live life.

Every week we meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 at the church. Throughout the year we participate in a variety of activities and trips. Here are some of the things we do during the year:

  • Wisconsin Christian Youth Convention in Wisconsin Dells
  • Weeklong Christ In Youth Summer Conference in Carbondale, IL
  • Christian Concerts
  • Costume Party
  • Scavenger Hunts
  • Valleyfair Amusement Park
  • Week long Summer Camp at Christian Harbor Youth Camp on Lake Holcombe.

Fear or Adventure

God did not give us a spirt of fear but of power. 1 Timthy 1:7a
I like adventure. I like extreme sports. I like seeing if I can overcome challenges. What about our Christian lives? How often do we face challenges head on? Over the next six weeks at youth group will be looking at the ways we face adventure in our journey through life. We are going to look at challenges and successes of some people in the Bible to help us Mountain-top andWilderness Experiences. Here is a break-down fo the week’s topics:

We also have a number of ways that Teens can develop leadership:

  • Youth Worship Team on Sunday Mornings
  • Volunteer time on Wednesday Night FW Friends Children’s Program
  • Help with Summer VBS
  • Community Service Projects
  • Help Organize the annual Easter Egg Hunt
  • Assist with Nursery and Children’s Church on Sunday Mornings

Printer Cartridges

We are taking old inkjet and laser printer cartridges to be recycled. If you have any laying around, please bring them to the church and place them in one of the green boxes near the west and north doors.
