2021 Last Chance Camp –

 

Hey Everyone! 

                Last Chance Camp is Coming and its going to be great!  The theme will be “Expect the Impossible” as we want the students to realize God wants to accomplish the impossible with them.  John Taplin will be our speaker and we are excited to see what God will do!

                Camp will start at supper time at 6:00pm on Friday, August 3 and go through breakfast on Monday, August 6th with everyone leaving by 9:00am.  The schedule will be similar to a regular day of camp on Saturday and Sunday.  The only exception is that Sunday, we will have a worship service and only have one class session.

                Speaking of classes, I would like to have 4 panels, where you can share your stories and experiences with the students.  If our goal is to do the impossible, then I thought our panels should be on 4 relevant topics that can bring students closer to that goal.  Here are the panels and who I have assigned to the panels.  If you don’t feel the one assigned is a good fit, or are passionate about another, please let me know. 

Panel 1:  How to Share Your Faith with Friends- (Jenny, Bennet, Eliot)

Panel 2: How to Live Your Faith at Work (Danny, Heike, Amy and Chase)

Panel 3: How to Keep your Faith priority in Relationships (Erin and Nate, Ben , Emma B)

Panel 4: How to Expand Your Faith in Missions.  (John Taplin, Jeremy A)

                Another thing I would like for you to consider is sharing your testimony how God has worked in your life.  It can be your testimony on how you came into a relationship with Christ, or it can be a testimony on how God has done something in your life that you think would encourage them to actively trust in God.  I would like to have for our three campfires as woman and a man to share, or a couple can do it together. Please remember your testimony should always emphasize more of what God has done, than what you did before God.

                I will be contacting some of you about other ways to help out with the weekend.  I can’t wait to serve God together with you all!!
